A wonderful villa accommodation experience. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Host Indra was incredibly welcoming and communication was efficient. Grateful to him.
It was good generally. Just a bit slow with communication. The local staff team was really nice. If you have rented a huge car, it can’t go inside the road. You have to walk about 500m in after getting off the car from the main st. Walkable distance to many restaurants and Doublesix beach.
It was a chilling experience for me staying at Villa Mint. The room is big, clean and beautiful as shown in website. Hope I can come back soon!
We experienced so many problems with this villa that I’ll never come back again even if it’s free. Holidays are meant to be enjoyed, not under lots of stress. Day 2 one of the bedroom aircons spoilt. I spent like 30mins following instructions of the host Indra. Switching on/off the circuit power supply and was lightly electrocuted. Day 3 aircon still down. Day 4 as I was bathing halfway with shampoo, the power for entire villa went down. Water pressure disappeared and I was stuck with no water. Problem was finally resolved after 5pm. We had kids and it was stressful not being sure the whole day whether we will have electricity back as we had 4 more nights here. Day 5 the same aircon spoilt again. Technician came and said my helper used the remote wrongly. Me and my wife were away so couldn’t verify. Day 7 at night we realized the aircon was spoilt again. It had lights but no air came out. I had more whatsapp conversations with the host Indra than I have with my best friend.
There were a lot of mosquitoes. I think it was inevitable because it was an open living room and kitchen. There was dog poop in the alley that comes into the accommodation.... Apart from that, the well-maintained garden stands out as shown in the photos, and Indra's prompt response was convenient. The air conditioner was also cool. Overall, I was satisfied. The beach is a 15 minute walk. There are also some restaurants nearby that you can walk to.

This stay is very good, the villa is clean, the children are very happy, the location is good, the supermarket pharmacy is all within five minutes, the children broke their legs while playing in Yogyakarta, and the nearby pharmacy is very convenient for me. The host is very good, the communication is timely, and can also help to book a place to eat.
The villa really give us feeling that we are home, it’s great for family staying everything you need - the staff always there for you. The environment was greenery and friendly. We really enjoyed our time, Highly recommended.
Villa Mint is a perfect stay in Bali. The house is fabulous. The housekeeper Intra is very friendly and solve our problems in a very short time.
I stayed here for the first two days in Bali, the yard is so beautiful, the greening of the yard, the decoration of the room is very southeast Asian, I really like it, the host service is very attentive, and I regret not staying more than a few nights. The only thing missing is that the bathing water in the bathroom is not very hot. It is cooler at night during the rainy season. It will be a little cold to take a shower, and everything else is great.
Beautiful villa, wish we could have stayed longer. We picked it for its Bali vibes in the photos and it absolutely delivered. So serene, beautiful greenery everywhere, lovely spacious rooms accented with locally made goods and such a treat to have your own private refreshing pool. Indra’s place is peacefully tucked away but walking distance to shops, restaurants and even a supermarket and the beach. My family and I really enjoyed our stay :)
Great property manager. Fantastically well maintained and detailed villa garden. Clean. Quiet. I wish it was 50 meters closer to the main road or had a back exit towards the beach. Was glad once we used grab to collect cars at the end of the “gang”… unbelievable value. Best value of any place in Bali we stayed.

Before arriving, Indra gave us detailed information about the location of the accommodation, etc. Indra was waiting for us at the house and was kind enough to accommodate us. The place is more beautiful than what you see in the pictures. Our daily cleaning team will keep you as clean as your first day. The beds are comfortable and luxurious like a 5 star hoop. The pool is well maintained, and our family enjoyed swimming every morning. It is well located for daily surfing by the sea, and there are many restaurants nearby that you can use comfortably. Thank you Indra for your attentive consideration. I would recommend Villa Mint to friends who want to come to Bali.

Villa Mint was absolutely stunning!! The place looks exactly like the pictures. Our family of 6 really loved just relaxing and spending most of our time there. Nothing like swimming in the morning and then cooking some indomie goreng for lunch!
We also really love how it's located at the heart of Seminyak and how it is super walkable to all the amazing cafes and restaurants nearby. The beach is also only a 15 mins walk away. Highly recommend and would come back again!

We enjoyed our stay at a Indra’s villa. Perfect size for 3 couples. Indra was very responsive to our questions and helpful in recommending massage places and restaurants. Indra organized airport pickup which was great. The villa is close to all you need in walking distance. There were a few little things I’ve passed on to Indra that would have made the stay even better. We’d happily stay again.
We had a wonderful stay. It is a quiet place and close to everything, the market, restaurants and the beach. Very perfect villa and the most important thing is that the place is safe. The host was very interested in us and took good care of us. We forgot something and called him and he responded immediately - we always find him if we reach out to him. As for the bedrooms, they were good. Overall we were happy and enjoyed our stay in the villa. We highly recommended this place and will comeback and deal with the host directly.

It was exactly as it was in the photo. When I opened the door and entered, I felt so good because it was full of the balisness. I wanted and imagined it. Interior, gardens, everything is in Bali. The pool was also nice, so I used it every day. I liked that there were many restaurants and spas around the vicinity, and the fact that the empty market is right next door in particular is a really great advantage. Grab is also well caught. I spent 5 days like my own home. If you want balisness and convenience, it's right here, so don't worry about it.
Indra is a wonderful and very attentive host! He truly cares and goes out of his way to make you feel at home and to make sure everything is ok. The location is good, off of the main road, so very peaceful in the evening, and the property itself is just stunning! I really didn’t want to leave. I had an issue with a leak one evening, due to heavy rain. Indra had his team out to fix it right away and also refunded me one night for the inconvenience. If you are considering staying here, this is your sign to go ahead and do it! Great place, great host and great experience!

Though it was a short stay but the villa was damn pretty and the staff is really helpful. The location is prime and just at the shopping street. Words can’t describe how gorgeous the villa looks. Will definitely plan again for a longer stay for sure 😁🫰🏻
Great stay! The villa was beautiful, well-decorated, well-maintained. People came to take care of the pool and cleaning every day. The host was kind, respectful, attentive and accommodating. In addition, there are lots of small details everywhere: from drinking water to the kitchen, quality sheets, small things in the kitchen! In short, I'd recommend it!
Our family of four (including two little kids) were looking for somewhere quiet but central to call our own for a week in Bali. Villa Mint did not disappoint. Literally everything was perfect from Indra’s communication, organisation, check ins and recommendations. The rooms are bigger, nicer than the pictures show and the location is really central and yet, still quiet. We can’t fault our stay in any way, so much that we think we will be back again next year. Don’t think twice about booking Villa Mint, you won’t regret it.

From the moment we opened the gate, we were stunned at Indra's place. It is a heavenly, peaceful oasis set down a pathway off the main road in central Seminyak, so while it's central to shops, restaurants, and the beach, it's so quiet and peaceful! Indra is a very kind host and his staff are lovely too. They helped us with finding the place and checking in with lovely smiles. The communication was top notch and the service was very responsive. The villa was kept immaculate! The beds were amazingly comfy and the rooms very tastefully decorated. The whole villa is like a work of art, and you can tell Indra has real talent for design. Honestly, we wish were could have stayed for longer! Everything was absolutely 10/10.
Indra was an amazing host, always responding quickly and very proactive in reaching out to me to ensure the stay is good. The place itself was spectacular, the cleaners do a great job with daily cleaning too. I would definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again if i ever came back to Bali!

Our stay in Villa Mint was amazing, we had an incredible time at the pool and it was so fun staying in such a beautiful place. The kitchen is also super well equipped and we had fun cooking a bunch of meals there and chilling in all the different lounge areas available near the pool or in the living room! Our host Indra was super amazing too, and helped us alot since day 1 with getting to the villa to showing up right away when I accidentally messed up the safe 😅 Also had great recommendations for places to go which we really enjoyed, and was super responsive! The street to get to the house can feel kind of scary late at night since it’s pretty dark but thats not up to the host, and it’s all good with a phone flashlight :) I would definetly highly recommend staying here and we really hope to come back in the future

Villa mint was such a beautiful villa to stay in! Thanks to Indra for being a great host - he was very responsive, helpful and accommodating with our check in requirements (we had requested an earlier check in if available and due to no-one checking out the day we arrived, he was more than happy to help arrange this). The villa itself is fantastic with 3 spacious rooms and their own ensuites. Everything was extremely clean and even the towels/linen smelt so nice! Great. Our favourite part of the villa was the pool as it was so peaceful having at the end of some busy days. Jl Arjuna (Double Six) is a 2 minute walk from the villa and there are plenty of shops and dining options on this street. The beach was a 10 minute walk and we enjoyed Grain for coffee/breakfast a couple of times (which is a 2-3 minute walk down the road). We loved our stay and had a great time.
Perfect place to stay in Kuta! Ideal location … 1 minute walk to plenty of shopping and restaurants but the villa itself is so peaceful. We loved the decor and the layout. It looks professionally decorated but it’s Indra who’s done everything. He’s a fantastic host; very responsive and accommodating for us to leave our luggage before check-in and after check-out, and such a nice person to chat with. Highly recommend staying here! And for coffee and breakfast we loved Gujji Coffee - small place but excellent- 7 minute walk away.

This villa was absolutely beautiful, more beautiful than the photos can show you. Beautiful garden and pool area. Very clean rooms. All 3 bedrooms had private ensuites and were seperate from each other which was lovely. Daily housekeeping. Indra and staff were able to set up birthdays decorations to surprise my family and even sung happy birthday to him and brought a piece of cake. Villa is a few minute walk down a small lane way but as soon as you pop out from the lane you’re on the Main Street with shopping and restaurants with Bintang supermarket only a few minute walk down the road. Would recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Indra was a great host - very responsive, checked in frequently to make sure our stay was going well, helped arrange transport from the airport and met our group at the villa upon arrival and departure. Villa Mint is absolutely beautiful, exactly as the pictures show and honestly even better in person. There are 3 very well designed and decorated rooms, and he has staff come by and clean everyday. The pool was perfect temp to cool down and had an outdoor shower. Location is excellent!! It was about a 10-15min walk to the beach on a street lined with stores and coffee shops. The villa is tucked at the end of a private road which allows for a quieter home atmosphere (at night, the road does get a bit dark, but we had no problem pulling out our cellphone for light). It’s about a 2min walk to the busy main road which has a variety of restaurants, shops, and a local grocery store. A great place to stay in Seminyak.
It's hard to find at first. Once you get used to it, that's fine. There are bars and shops around but no noise at all. The house is very tidy, and the pool is suitable for playing from child to adult. I want to visit again:-(
The villa is very well located in the centre of Seminyak, right next to the strategic Bintang Market which makes shopping easy. The villa is tastefully decorated and everything is quiet. Indra is a very pleasant and helpful host. Don't hesitate to ask him for advice on good plans (restaurants, spa and massages, spots on the surrounding beaches...), he will be happy to inform you. A very good address!

Indra's Villa Mint was the perfect place for my family visiting from the United States. It was recently renovated and the pictures looked exactly like the condition of the villa. Everything is new and very tastefully decorated. The linens, towels, pillows, and mattresses are high quality and Indra even provided daily maid service during our stay. The kitchen is prefect for cooking light meals and everything you need is provided from a filter coffee maker, kettle, bottled water dispenser, and full size refrigerator. The separate sleeping rooms/villas are prefect for a family and you can gather and hang out in the great open air living area where Indra has a large flat screen TV already loaded with a Netflix account that you can use. Locations is prefect as it is very quiet at night, but you can still walk to all of the hot spots in the Seminyak area. We could not have picked a more perfect place. You won't regret booking with Indra.
The bed is very comfortable, 5⭐️ hotel standard. Room smells nice & aircon works perfectly. The place is cleaned daily, and the cleaners are friendly. Wifi works well & Netflix is available. Supermarket is only 5mins walk from the villa. The only improvement needed is the heater capacity as the warm water only lasted for 1-2ppl at one time, but thanks to Indra’s prompt response, the technician worked on it right away. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Thanks Indra for your hospitality!
Have been many times to Bali. But this time was special because of amazing experience in Villa Mint. It is absolutely best one i ever stayed. Very good location - close to Bingtang market in heart of Seminyak. But same time it is away from busy street in dead end of small lane - very quiet and private. It is super big. We stayed 4 friends in 3 bedrooms and had friends over. It is so beautiful. For sure somebody who did design and all details inside villa - is very talented person. Service was amazing. From checking until check out. Villa has everything necessary. Host help us with organizing driver, cleaning, cooking and laundry, gave a lot of recommendations where to go and what to do. It is super well equipped. With beautiful pool and chill outdoor area. Absolutely stunning place. Fresh and beautiful. I would surely return here next vacations in Bali. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Thanks for having me for almost 3 weeks. I have been many times staying in different villa in Bali for vacation with families and friends, their location is the best. Located in the centre of Seminyak, you can find Big Supermarkt, Apotheke, Brunch places, even beaches are all nearby. Their hospitality is beyond awesome, they always make sure that everyday we enjoy the facility to the max. The communication is amazing, the host is very friendly. Normally in other villa you have small pool, but they have bigger pool - is enough for your swimming activities in the morning before going to beach. They just start to publish the villa to public, it is an honor to be one of the first who enjoyed the stay there. Recommended Villa ever!!!

Well, I 100% agree that Indra’s villa is a lot more beautiful in reality than in the picture. The bed, toilet, kitchen, etc are equipped with beautiful (and comfy) furniture and stuff.
I felt totally comfortable from the first moment, the villa is very tastefully decorated, rooms & beds are great, despite the central location it is very quiet & the best thing is to chill in the bale with a view to the beautiful pool !!!! I will definitely come back 😍👍

These days, you can't often rely on the pictures that appear on booking platforms ... but - the Villa Mint has taught me better. It is even more beautiful than in the pictures. You step inside and immediately feel at home. Surrounded by a beautiful garden, the 3 bedrooms, the dining area and the living room are to the left and right of the pool. At the head the lovingly built bale of bamboo, with a roof of Alang-Alang ... perfect for escaping the hot sun for a bit, if that's what you want. The bedrooms are spacious, the beds fantastic - you don't want to get up in the mornin 😉 The bathrooms are beautifully furnished and all have rain showers. But what really makes this beautiful place are those many small, loving details that can be found everywhere. You can see that the owner has really put his heart and soul into this place. What is also really worth mentioning is that the villa is located at the end of a quiet lane, but not even a minute away from bustling Seminyak with all its restaurants, cafes and shops. You wouldn't believe how quiet it is there. It's a shame that I only discovered this villa now, so I could only spend my last night there before flying home. But, one thing is for sure - I will definitely be back! Finally, a big thank you to Indra - you couldn't ask for a better host. Always on hand, friendly and helpful - with lots of tips on what to do in Seminyak. I look forward to seeing you again next time!
We stayed in the sister villa, SunGlow Villa (Seminyak), for a short getaway and it turned out to be one of the best choices made. The location was pretty good and allowed us to grab groceries/eat out/get a quick massage quite conveniently. Ayu and Putu (as were the other staff like drivers and service crew) were really attentive and friendly, making the whole stay a pleasant experience. The daily breakfast was an additional bonus as it was made in the villa and Ayu made it a point to wait for everyone to be ready before making hot drinks so that it wouldn’t get cold too soon. The rooms and pool were well maintained and it was nice to return to a comfy and done up place every day after a long day out exploring.Will definitely recommend this villa and will be back here again if we are in Seminyak!
Very beautiful design, spacious, clean and safe villa with perfect location in Seminyak. It is not just basic place to stay, everything is thought through, even pool toys for kids.Staff is super friendly, breakfast is great. They are available all the time but same time not pushy. Very good locaton, shopping street eith cafes and restaurants aprox. 200m same time quaiet area.
We stayed at Sunglow Villa for a 6-day trip with friends. The villa is great, and the staff were amazing. The place was very well cleaned and maintained, and the staff comes in every morning to ensure that it is in good condition too (cleaning the pool, washing the floors, watering the plants etc.) Our butler, Ayu, was very detailed and she made such good breakfast. The pool area was nice, and we were dipping/swimming almost every day. The villa was pretty quiet too, even though we were only a street away from the bustling area. It is also really convenient that there is a 24h minimart less than 2 minutes from the villa, great for getting some treats when we're feeling snacky!
The staff at SunGlow Villa were really friendly and Ayu greeted us with smiles and breakfast every morning! She attended to all our needs very well and was really helpful! Manager Putu gave us a free floating breakfast experience as well! I had a great time with SunGlow Villa!
A dream with a wonderful garden for exclusive use in the centre of Seminyak.
This villa is actually designed for 6 people, but we had the luxury of being able to enjoy everything for 2 people. A beautiful pool, absolute tranquillity despite being close to the town centre. Great modern furnishings in the spacious rooms. Each bedroom has a large bathroom, plenty of space and great air conditioning. The beds are very comfortable and sleeping is wonderful, everything is super clean! In the morning we were spoilt by the lovely Ayu with a very good breakfast, she fulfilled all our wishes. She even went shopping for us, just super nice and obliging!
Nearby we had a very good, new, small warung, great selection and everything tasted very good, we can really recommend it. The beach is easily accessible and a dream, nice restaurants and great sunbeds. In the afternoon, however, we enjoyed spending time in our quiet garden, where we were able to relax on the sunbeds and in the pool. The surrounding restaurants are easily accessible and excellent and there are plenty of shops for shopping.
All in all, a wonderful time in a beautiful villa with lots of attention to detail and with very friendly hosts, Ayu the lovely cleaning & breakfast fairy and Putu, who was very committed to organising everything. Many THANKS for everything!
Rooms: Rooms are very spacious and roomy, good for sleeping and very quiet!
Security: The wall around the hotel made us feel very safe, only the staff and we had a key.
Walking distance: There is a small grocery shop and the new warung right next door

Very private, quaiet and secure area but same time very close to shopping street and center. Really cant fault anything. Stuff was great, very helpful. Breakfast lovely and made freshly right in villa. Pool toys for kids etc.

SunGlow villa was a dream. The bedrooms were very modern, clean and spacious. Super comfy bed and fluffy pillows. Each with their own bathroom, cold aircon and fans.The villa includes beautiful gardens and a big pool (which is very warm). The kitchen is large and perfect for couples or a big family! The butler Ayu is so kind and attentive and made our breakfast each morning at a time we chose. The food was very fresh and tasted delicious! She was lovely. The villa is situated in Seminyak not far from the main strip of restaurants and bars. We would 100% come back again. Thanks so much to Putu and Ayu for making our stay one to remember.
Everything was great! The villa was super clean and comfortable! The breakfast was delicious and they made breakfast for us even in 5:00am in the morning when we asked for! The staff were extremely polite and friendly! Definitely recommended!
Beautiful, clean and well maintained villa. We loved the pool and the staff (Putu, Ayu and team) were amazing. Our butler cooked a great breakfast each morning. The location was also great, Circle K next door and a coffee shop just up the road. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at a villa in Bali, and while the experience was generally positive, it fell short of being exceptional. The villa, nestled in a serene location, offered a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The spacious layout of the villa was a highlight, providing ample room for relaxation and unwinding. The decor exuded a rustic charm that complemented the natural beauty of Bali, creating a cozy atmosphere. The private pool added a touch of luxury and served as a perfect spot to enjoy the tropical weather. On a positive note, the staff's hospitality was commendable. They were friendly and responsive, always willing to assist with any requests or concerns. Their attentiveness contributed to a pleasant overall experience. In conclusion, the Bali villa provided a decent and enjoyable stay, but it lacked the elements that would elevate it to an exceptional level. Addressing the fuzzy smell in the toilet and enhancing the amenities provided could significantly improve the guest experience. Despite these shortcomings, the villa remains a viable option for those seeking a peaceful retreat in Bali.
However, there were a couple of aspects that left room for improvement. The most notable issue was the somewhat persistent fuzzy smell in the toilet. While the overall cleanliness was acceptable, this particular aspect detracted from the overall experience. It would be advisable for the management to address this concern to enhance the comfort of guests. Additionally, the amenities provided were minimal, which was somewhat surprising given the expectations often associated with villa accommodations in Bali. While essentials were present, a more generous selection of toiletries and other conveniences would have added a touch of luxury to the stay.
Beautiful villa and top-notch service!
Stayed at SunGlow Villa for 6 nights - there were 6 adults and 3 kids (aged 6 months, 4 years and 7 years). The property was modern, beautiful, clean, spacious, comfortable and location was great yet quiet - convenience stores, shops and restaurants were close by. Above all, and more importantly, the service and staff were fantastic. Before our arrival, we requested for pool fence, extra bed and airport transfers - all were provided with no issues. They even kindly provided international adaptors for our use in the villa. Most impressive and appreciated was the provision of pool floats and toys at the last minute which probably made the biggest difference to our stay. The young and old would not have been able to enjoy swimming or playing in the water as much as we did without those, so much so that we used the pool every single day (plus the weather was scorching!). The drivers who did the airport transfers were friendly, and the vehicles were clean and comfortable. On arrival at the villa, Putu was very responsive to our queries and needs on-site. Ayu was amazing in preparing our breakfast daily (the menu was relatively extensive) and cleaned the rooms and bathrooms thoroughly. The in-villa BBQ service included decking out the villa in beautiful Bali decor which was a real delight and welcomed sight after returning from a full and long day outdoors. Only suggestion is for the villa to provide paper towels in the kitchen as we had a baby and there was plenty of washing/cleaning. In addition, the open (non-enclosed) kitchen, living and dining areas may be a consideration for guests when the weather is very hot (there were fans).

Wow, what an amazing experience we had staying at the beautiful SunGlow Villa Seminyak. The Villa was beautifully clean and well maintained, with everything we needed and within walking distance to the main Eats street. Everything ran smoothly from check in to check out thanks to Putu's service and communication. Ayu was so kind, cooked a delicious breakfast every morning and made sure we had an enjoyable stay - nothing was too much trouble. This is our 4th stay in Seminyak and best accommodation by far.
Is a very nice villa. Very, very quiet considering that it is in the middle of the city, so it is in a great location, the rooms and the ambience are amazing! An oasis of well-being with mega charm.

We had a fantastic time at SunGlow Villa, it was just perfect for our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids aged 8, 6 and 3). The villa is right in the heart of Seminyak but very peaceful and private, fantastic pool and such wonderful staff. Any issues/questions were responded to within minutes. Staff was so lovely and Anu cooked the most delicious breakfast. We will absolutely be back! Oh and there’s an excellent coffee shop (How I met coffee) about 50m away!

I stayed for 5 days this March and I absolutely LOVED it! Most important while traveling is getting a good nights sleep and I certainly got that in those marvelous comfortable beds :-)! The whole Villa provides a very high standard and I recommend it highly for families and a group of friends, since there is plenty of space to get the needed privacy! the staff was very welcoming and took great care of us. We rented Scooters so getting to the lovely Beaches was just a question of minutes.. and on my early morning walks it was only a 10 minute stroll to the next beach.. so there was nothing at all missing at Villa Sunglow.. only a couple of days more :-)) I'll be back :-)
The house is amazing. Three rooms with a double bed each, swimming pool in the middle. The garden offers a lot of space, the furniture is a perfect selection. We enjoyed our stay so much. In addition to the supernice villa, the service of the management and the housekeeping was almost perfect. The villa is highly recommended.

SunGlow Villa was a really comfortable stay! The villa is clean, common areas and rooms are spacious, pool was very nice. Speakers were good and loud enough for the whole villa. The villa is also very conveniently located near the main bars and clubs in Seminyak and has a Circle K minimart right outside the villa. Will definitely recommend to friends.
We loved our stay, fabulous villa for a getaway for 3 couples. Well located, good amenities. Breakfast being included and cooked by Eddie was an added bonus! Eddie was great. We had an amazing 3-night stay in the stylish SunGlow Villa. It’s just a few minutes walk to the beach, where we watched the most stunning sunsets every evening. Restaurants and cafés are close by, too, so we could easily enjoy a wide range of various cuisines. There is staff at the Villa for a few hours each morning who not only tidy and clean, but also serve you freshly made breakfast of your choice. The entire house was obviously very recently renovated and beautifully decorated with stylish furniture that is tastefully combined with a few antique pieces and objects. Each of the 3 bedrooms is bright and spacious (with air-conditioning, of course), and the bathrooms were equally spacious and modern. We also enjoyed spending a whole afternoon by the pool in the lovely, well-groomed garden with its beautiful trees and flowers. When booking were worried about noise and safety in the neighbourhood (as one reviewer claimed there was a problem), but our worries were unfounded. The neighbourhood turned out safe and quiet. We had a wonderful time a the SunGlow Villa – and only wish we could have stayed for longer.

SunGlow Villa is a total new beautiful stylish renovated 3 bedrom villa, in a side street, not far from Seminyak beach, nice cafes & restaurants are also nearby ... so neither loud, nor dogs or thieves ..... The check-in was very easy, attentive staff and a wonderful atmosphere. I had a fantastic three weeks in the cozy Villa Sunglow.

A gorgeous, modern and newly renovated villa, with all the amenities of daily life, in the heart of Seminyak. The villa is located at the end of a quiet street in a residential area and yet in the middle of it all. Everything is within walking distance including the seemingly endless beach with stunning sundowners. A small supermarket is a minute walk from the villa. There is also plenty to do and explore in the Seminyak area. We can report absolutely nothing bad, neither about the locals nor about the surroundings. But we also have everything always well stored and locked, as I would do anywhere in the world. The host is also super nice and mega uncomplicated. All in all an unforgettable and above all unreservedly recommendable vacation. One thing is for sure, we will be back again 🙏
We had a wonderful stay! Sudita was responsive, quick, and very informative. Putu, the villa manager and his crew were hospitable and professional. We encountered troubles with our driver locating villa on the first night. Putu and his crew not only guided but managed to locate us on the road and helped us reach the villa safely. The villa is clean, tidy, nicely decorated with proper hardwood furniture and it comes with a full kitchen with appliances. It looks exactly like the photos posted. The only downside is the location. All of our drivers/ Grab/ private hire cars had troubles finding it. It’s embedded within small streets on a narrow road. But it’s still good because it’s in the center of Seminyak, close to restaurants, bars, shops, and a 10-15 min walk to to beach, yet it’s quiet and private. The only recommendation we have for Sudita is to provide further directions to locate the villa, or a map to give to the driver. Otherwise, everything is PERFECT!

On our Bali trip in autumn 2022, which also took us to the west coast, we stayed in the SunGlow Villa in Seminyak. A jewel, beautifully furnished, in modern, simple elegance. Three bedrooms offer plenty of space and the swimming pool is of considerable size. A small glass front on the outside wall in the kitchen area allows a view of a small, private temple in a charming, overgrown garden. For me it was a touching connection between the modern, touristy side of Bali on the one hand and the authentic side on the other. The villa also offers a great advantage due to its location. She is the last one at the end of a narrow alley. Therefore, one can find some respite from the hustle and bustle of this busy tourist hotspot, despite being just a few minutes' walk from the sensational beach.
The warm welcome from the host Thomas made the arrival very SPECIAL! When you enter this magical complex with the 2 cottages, you are immediately captured by the quiet, relaxed atmosphere. The lots of greenery, the beautiful plants of various kinds, the pool, everything created with a lot of love, simply make a real oasis of well-being for your vacation. We were thrilled from the start and couldn't believe that our house could even surpass the whole thing with the amenities. But it was like that, this great outdoor kitchen, which was at our free disposal with the freely accessible water dispencer was the beginning. In the cottage itself there is a very nice and comfortable bed with a mosquito net and plenty of storage space for luggage. The large bathroom is a highlight in a class of its own, a huge shower, sink and enough storage space and toilet. The floor was very creatively and attractively laid out with natural stone and smaller round stones, and even made it possible to have a mini “foot massage”. The air conditioning and the ceiling fan ensured that we could set our room temperature differently, both during the day and just one at night. The small terrace on the house was the place to enjoy the sunrise every morning, a dream. The additional, very friendly welcome and the great support from Kadek and Liong rounded off the perfect holiday relaxation experience. No wish was left unfulfilled, everything was taken care of quickly and we didn't have to worry about anything. We were able to relax wonderfully and had an unforgettable time at Rumah Richard, thank you very much for that!
As a couple this was one of our highlight stays on our month trip around Bali and nearby islands. Thomas and his team booked off the neighboring cabin for us. They do this often apparently, but you may want to confirm if you are a group of 2. We loved the kitchen and used it for one meal. The view is incredible and feels like a heavenly oasis. Magical location in a cute area with smaller warungs nearby, and two trendy cafes which we tried and were very surprised with how tasty their meals and drinks were. Very special Airbnb that we certainly will hope to return to.

It was a very good experience staying in this property with beautiful serene. The property had everything which is required for a stay. Our host Liong was always at his toes to help us with any local assistance or requirements. A must recommended place for someone who wants to experience the lifestyle of Ubud.
What a lovely traditional place to stay. Most importantly for me was a car parking. This is important, because usually if a villa located at narrow street there is no parking area. But Rumah Richard have one. Nice.
The two days in Rumah Richard were a pleasant two days and loved this little yard. Staying with four people, the whole yard is private and very private. The place was great. The flight got delayed and still Liong waited for us to arrive and helped us get in and showed us around. The host will help you in airport pick up and renting a scooter which is great since it’s our first time in Bali. The place was so peaceful just like the pictures. Thomas the owner gave us all the information we needed before arrival. When arrived there, we were greeted by Liong and Lola (Lola is the owner’s dog). Liong is very kind and don’t worry about Lola, if you’re not a dog person, Lola won’t enter the villa. But be careful, Lola is a friendly dog so she could follow you when you walk around. Just make sure to not let her to follow you until the main road. The villa itself is 100% as described. Not too far from center but near all the places that we love to visit. A little noisy from the room number One as the room is on the road side (it’s not the main road, just small road). The pool is perfect when it’s hot, well everyday is hot in Bali. Near the villa, there is Indomaret, a minimarket. Then for eating, when we were too lazy to go outside, we used Gojek app (Gofood) which is like Ubereats in Europe. The kitchen is well equipped. There are 3 or 4 different coffee machines, microwave, toaster, equipment for cooking, water dispenser etc.

For us the perfect accommodation to have a relaxing private time after the long flight as a family and still be close to many activities and restaurants. Our boys spent a lot of time in the beautiful private pool. The communication worked flawlessly. Thank you also to Kadek and Liong, we felt very much with you, everything just worked out great.
We had 3 great nights at Thomas and Liong's place. There were two of us there and everyone had their own house - a luxury. The pool is nice and in the evening with the lighting the garden looks fantastic. We were able to sit outside for a long time, as there were almost no mosquitos. The geckos in the house have often lost their leftovers, but because of the mosquito net, the bed was safe terrain ;) The bed is incredibly comfortable, I will miss that the most!

Rumah Richard is that kind of place: beautiful, stylish joglo's, clean, a lush garden, all surrounded by the beautiful ricefields and the village; a peaceful and authentic experience of Indonesia. Thomas and Liong were superfriendly and helpful. They know wat hospitality is. We had 4 wonderful days and we're already thinking about coming back.

In the middle of fields and rice paddies, in the peace and quiet, that is, if you like the uninterrupted song of the cicadas, this neat little cottage has a very pleasant swimming pool, creating a warm, natural and cosy atmosphere. All in comfort. All within easy reach of the shops and a scooter ride (15 minutes max from Ubud). Sprinkle in some discreet, friendly neighbours and you've got your Ubud holiday villa! Words cannot describe what a magical and beautiful place on earth this is. My mother-in-law would say a dream in bags 😍 and that probably sums it up best. Rumah Richard is the place you dream of when you want to vacation. A small suburb near Ubud with a direct view of rice terraces, what could be nicer. Already in the early morning you can watch the locals at work in the rice fields over a cup of coffee. The two wooden houses with bathroom and kitchen are a jewel that is second to none. Separated by a small pool, four of you can have a perfect holiday here and let your soul dangle. If you haven't been here yet, you should do so as soon as possible. You definitely won't regret it 🙏 With the scooter everything can be reached in a short time. A small beach is also only twenty minutes away and it takes about 45 minutes to drive to Seminyak and the famous beach with the breathtaking sundowners, which is no problem at all with the scooter. All in all the perfect starting point to explore the island of the gods but also the perfect retreat to unwind from the stress at home 😊 Absolute recommendation and if more stars were possible, I would add another five because it is simply paradise 🙏😍

Exploring the surrounding area, view to the rice fields right from my bed, Hiking Mount Batur, eating most amazing, freshly cooked food in different Warungs (Restaurants), relaxing on the beautiful verandah sipping a fresh Dragon-Fruit Cocktail, exploring Ubud with all its lovely shops, going to Tegallalang-Road buying beautiful handcrafted Bali products, cooling down in the lovely pool, preparing meals in the lovely open-air kitchen, .. I could go on for ever.. it was a wonderful first, but for sure not last, Bali and Rumah Richard experience :-)! Thank you so much for making my holiday so special
Our family loves to stay at Thomas’s house / Rumah Richard. It was in the middle of paddy field, we love the quietness. In the morning we could hear the dog bark sometimes but that’s okay. Thomas’ house is value for money. Will recommend this place for my friends.
We really had a great time here!! Villa was very pretty & peaceful, had a great rest here, we could see stars at night. We could also enjoy our stay with their dogs & cats, they were very lovely! (if you prefer to not have the dogs & cats in the villa, you could tell them also, since the cats & dogs were actually living on the other villa, they only let them out if you ask). Both Thomas & Liong were very kind & helpful. Very recommended.

What a great stay. We stayed here with a different couple and each couple had their own cottage. The place was delicious. Bed was wonderful. And everything was actually great. I had asked in advance if they could help with scooters and these were ready when we arrived at the property. Also Liong the staff of the accommodation is super thoughtful and wants to help you with everything. I would definitely come back here!

We spent three nights in Rumah Richard and wish we could have stayed longer. The villa is superb and peaceful. Amenities and decorations match the photos and immerse us in the Balinese vibe. Liong is very attentive to make us have a good stay. We recommend this place with your eyes closed.
I spent a wonderful long weekend at Rumah Richard with my wife. The two cottages have been restored with a lot of love and offer every modern comfort. If you book for two persons, the second house is not rented, i.e. you enjoy complete privacy. The new kitchen is super clean, well equipped and also has a microwave and a Nespresso machine. The garden is extremely well maintained and the pool very refreshing. We spent many relaxing hours on the sun loungers. Communication in advance was straightforward and the owner sent a lot of useful information. The welcome from Liong, the house manager, was warm and he was always reachable whenever we needed something. By moped, you are in the center of Ubud in a maximum of 15 minutes. We can fully recommend Rumah Richard for your next Ubud stay and look forward to staying there again.

It has been an amazing experience. It's one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen.
Can we just live here? I stayed in Bali for 60 days and this place stood out above the rest. From the beginning Thomas and Liong were so helpful, but also treated us like family - so kind, communicative, and made us feel at home. They also helped coordinate our bike rental! Our stay at Rumah Richard was 2 weeks, and it wasn't nearly enough. Although it's about 20 mins out of central Ubud, it ended up being so much better because we didn't have to deal with daily traffic but the drive was quick and easy up one main road the whole way. Also less than 10 mins from the Zoo, waterfalls and so many other awesome restaurants/views we experienced. There's a great warung (Redeg) right across the rice field and on the Main Street the best coffee at Dia, and an ATM right across too. We loved waking up to the view of the volcano and palm trees, walking along the rice fields. It was a DREAM. If there's one thing I'm sure, is that when I come back to Bali I'll be staying here again. C

This beautiful Airbnb consists of two well designed Indonesian cabins that are positioned to have the most stunning views of the rice fields. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the stunning beauty of the property, which featured large balconies, an inviting pool, a simple but spacious kitchen and a garden area. What really made this Airbnb stand out was the kindness and hospitality of the staff. Liong went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Whether it was helping us rent a crib, rent bikes, or other travel arrangements, he were always available and willing to help with anything we needed. We loved our stay at Rumah Richard and grateful to Thomas and his team for making this beautiful space available for guests. We can't wait to return!

My daily highlight was the beginning of the day with sunrise "in the middle of the rice field" and the view of Mount Batur and Mount Agung 🤩 Very many destinations nearby with scooters very easy to reach. This was our second time here in Rumah Richard. It is absolutely terrific, something very special. We were able to rent a scooter through the host Liong, which was delivered to the front door. There were two of us, the accommodation consists of 2 small houses, the second one was closed off, so the whole area was just for us, with a suuuuper pool :-) If there are four of you, you get the second cottage in addition. We were worried at first whether the second house would be rented to someone else, but that's not the case. So it's a TOP location even for two. When you wake up, there is a magnificent sunrise over the rice fields right from your bed. It is very, very quiet. Apart from the sounds of nature :-) With the scooter you are in the middle of Ubud in 15 minutes, absolutely brilliant! Everything is spotlessly clean, Thomas and Liong are super nice, helpful and very friendly. They are always there when you need something. I had two wonderful days in Lodthundu at the end of my trip. During the day in Ubud with all its shops, artists, craftsmen, full of hustle and bustle, colourful, beautiful & loud ! I was so happy in Rumah Richard, pure relaxation in the middle of the rice fields, with my pool & a cold Bintang. Unforgettable moment, watching the sunrise directly from the bed over the rice fields. A dream place, I will definitely come back again 🫶

Rumah Richard is such a special place to spend a few very relaxing days, it can’t be more lovely how this is done! So tasteful, sustainable and in perfect harmony with nature. Rumah Richard is an enchanting, most lovely little cottage, nestled in the middle of a rice field. Surrounded by tranquil nature, i watched a gorgeous sunrise, right from my patio there. It is the perfect place to stay, if you want to take time off, away from your everyday life, to relax, just to enjoy yourself. All the descriptions are very accurate but the already beautiful pic are not doing justice to the real thing! This place is such a well done composition of nature, sustainable materials and tasteful design. All in all very well done, most certainly a place to come back and stay much longer than just one night only.
Two of us stayed in Rumah Richard for 5 days. This accommodation is an absolute gem in a small village in the middle of the rice fields. Stunning sunrise. 😍 There are 2 small houses with a private pool. The garden is beautiful and well maintained. We are absolutely delighted with the accommodation and the quiet location. In 20 minutes you are in the middle of Ubud by scooter. Great restaurants nearby. The host lives next door and is incredibly helpful and friendly. 🤩 We'll definitely be back, staying here was the best and most beautiful part of our 3-week trip to Bali. 😍😍
Super nice stay at Rumah Richard. The surrounding area is easy to explore with a scooter. Super nice surroundings in which to stay. My first and certainly not last visit to Bali 🌴🤩 Host is very friendly and you feel welcome immediately 🙏 My highlight were the daily beautiful sunrises from the bed 🤩 dreamlike! We stayed at Rumah Richard near Ubud in mid-February 2023, initially for 4 nights – and because it was such an absolutely wonderful experience – for another 3 nights at the end of February. The two lodges are stunning (actually, traditional Javanese) Joglos with a small swimming pool between them, set against the beautiful backdrop of the surrounding rice fields. The garden is very well maintained and full of beautiful flowers and trees. The modern and well-equipped kitchen offers all necessary amenities.In addition, the location is perfect and offers easy access to explore all of Bali on daytrips. Overall, we had the most wonderful time at Rumah Richard. Last not least, because of the host, who was extremely friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend a stay at this lodge to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable and unforgettable stay in Bali. I will definitely be coming back!
During our Bali vacation in September 2022 we stayed for three weeks at Rumah Richard in Lodtunduh, which is a stone's throw from Ubud with all its sights and attractions. The driveway to this authentic wooden house alone is a pleasant surprise. Through rice fields and a clean village, Rumah Richard welcomes you like a hug. The house is in a lovingly renovated top condition, without losing any of its Balinese flair. With rice fields in front of the small terrace, one experiences a pleasant contrast to the turbulent life in and around Ubud.
